Generational transition at Fromi. Guillaume hands over to Ghislain.
After 39 years at Fromi, Guillaume Dehaye retires and hands over the reins to his son Ghislain. A new chapter begins – driven by strong values, team spirit and a passion for fine food. A special milestone for our family business – joyfully celebrated with the whole team.

After 39 years of dedicated service, our Managing Director Guillaume Dehaye has entered a well-earned retirement – and passed the reins to his son, Ghislain Dehaye.
For the past seven years, father and son have worked side by side, restructuring the company, modernising its operations, and building a strong, committed leadership team around them. Today, Fromi is more than ever a forward-looking, passionate company grounded in a clear mission: to keep the craft of small producers alive, to support rural life – by promoting French and European gourmet specialities. And to showcase the full richness and excellence of European gastronomy.
Working at Fromi means being part of something meaningful. Guillaume and Ghislain have poured their hearts into shaping a company culture based on enthusiasm, proximity, innovation and a strong sense of the common good – values we live every day, together with our clients and partners.
Of course, such a moment called for a proper celebration: during a warm and festive evening held on 29th March 2025. Guillaume was specifically gifted a 39-month-aged Comté from Maison Marcel Petite – a symbolic nod to his 39 years at Fromi. A true highlight of the evening: the cheese buffet created by Christelle and Cyrille Lorho, both Meilleurs Ouvriers de France, which delighted all the senses!
Now it’s Ghislain at the helm – surrounded by a dedicated team and long-standing partners, full of energy and vision for the future. We’re excited for what’s ahead – and we say: thank you, Guillaume!
