St Maxime Barbichette
Farmhouse production. Cheese from raw milk, a Fromi creation! This cheese is the perfect illustration of our close collaboration with our partners. During a visit with our sales team at the Fromagerie des Alpines, our employee, Maxime Besombes, submitted the idea to the producer of combining seaweed with his goat’s cheese, given that the farm is located in Normandy, just a few miles from the English Channel. After a few trials, the cheese was approved and named Saint-Maxime in honour of the sales representative. This incredible collaboration represents a close partnership between Fromi, the employees, the producers and, most importantly, you – our customers. With its unique marine taste and touch of originality, this cheese is the perfect addition to any cheese board. It is made from raw goat’s milk and ripened for 7 days. The seaweed inside the cheese is added during moulding and the seaweed on top during ripening.
