Shropshire Hartington Ring

This traditional Shropshire is made at Hartington Creamery from local Derbyshire milk. It has a pretty orange colour from annatto, a natural colorant that contrasts with the blue marbling. The rind is natural. The cheese is ripened for 8 to 9 weeks for a very creamy result. This is a mild, tart blue. It’s an excellent cheese to crumble in salads, eat with figs or other fruit, or savour with port or red wine.
