Raclette le Fribourg aux herbes de Saint Bernard
Swiss raclette with character, in a square format, whose cow’s milk comes exclusively from the Fribourg region. Pleasant taste and melt-in-the-mouth dough. An exclusive organic herb mixture of thyme, basil, savory, lovage, sage, rosemary, marjoram and tarragon is added to the pate. An exclusive creation selected by our master cheesemaker Vincent Christophe. This unique cheese is a wonderful expression of the combination of 2 Swiss regional products: the rich milk of the Gruyère region and the organic aromatic herbs of the Grand Saint Bernard, also known as the “green gold of Valais”. Valais is an exceptional region for growing aromatic herbs, so we decided to combine these two regions and develop a unique cheese. After multiple tests, we chose this blend to obtain a flavour that is as enjoyable when eating the cheese col as when melting it for a raclette. Aged for 3 months.
