Ove Japonais

Farmhouse product. Ové Japonais is a soft, oval-shaped farmhouse cheese made from raw goat’s milk, with a natural rind. It is covered with an edible sakura (Japanese cherrytree) leaf, then matured for 7 days. Its paste is white and chalky, with a thin creamy layer under the rind. Ové Japonais is a mild, creamy cheese with vegetal aromas and a subtle cherry flavour.
